You may think most midwestern towns are the same,
but just wait until you visit Pella. Pella is a Dutch community filled with sights,
tastes and sounds reminiscent of Holland.
Located less than one hour from Des Moines, Pella has many recreational activities
including two golf courses, ten tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools,
bicycle paths, and Lake Red Rock for boating and skiing. Beautiful Lake Red Rock,
consisting of 19,000 acres of uncrowded water, is Iowa’s largest recreation area. |

From the east or west (Highway 163):
When arriving to Pella on Hwy 163, take exit 40.
At the stop sign, turn left onto Highway G28/IA-163 which becomes Washington Street
as you enter Pella.
Turn right onto West 3rd Street. Continue until you come to a T.
Turn right onto University Street which will become Idaho Drive. Proceed just over
1/2 mile. De Boerderij will be on your left neighboring the red barn house.
From the north (Highway T-14):
When arriving to Pella on Highway T-14, this highway becomes Main Street as you enter
Pella.
Continue past the downtown area until you come to a set of stoplights at the intersection
of Main Street and University Street. Turn right onto University Steet. As you curve
out of town, this becomes Idaho Drive. Proceed just over 1/2 mile.
De Boerderij will be on your left neighboring the red barn house.
From the northeast (Highway 102):
When arriving on Hwy 102, this highway becomes Vermeer Road and Vermeer Road becomes
Washington Street as you enter town.
Continue until you reach the stoplights at the intersection of Washington and Main
Street. Turn left onto Main Street.
Continue past the downtown area until you come to a set of stoplights at the intersection
of Main Street and University Street. Turn right onto University Steet. As you curve
out of town, this becomes Idaho Drive. Proceed just over 1/2 mile.
