A special welcome to "Anne's Room"! I married
the Bandstra's oldest son, Ryan. We were blessed with triplets in July 2000 and haven't
sat down since. They are the pride and joy of our lives. We also own the "local
friendly" garbage company, Red Rock Rubbish--we're the maroon dumpsters in town.
I'm a busy mom and wife but loved the idea of decorating my "own" room
here at the bed and breakfast. As you can see, I enjoy the cottage/shabby chique
look. Since I was a little girl, trips to the flea market were a part of my life.
I found many pieces here and there and revamped them with my own special touches.
Some of my favorite additions are my grandparents' old farm ladder created into a
closet nook, the variety of enamel accessories, the shingled sunporch wall, and the
P. Buckley Moss prints (you will notice they both have two boys and a girl, just
like me!) It's my desire that you can just relax and truly enjoy my room by taking
a whirlpool bath, watching the sunset, listening to your CDs, reading a book or even
playing a favorite childhood game of tic-tac-toe. During your stay, don't forget
to write about yourself in my journal.
